Q: What materials can GaaTech CNC route and machine?

A: We specialize in machining precision engineering plastics and tough laminates. Our standard stock inventory includes FR4, G10, GPO3, 3K Carbon Fiber, Acetal, Nylon, PEEK, and Polycarbonate. We can also source and machine custom specialized composites upon request.

Q: What file formats do you accept for CNC quoting?

A: To ensure maximum accuracy and rapid quoting, we prefer vector and 3D CAD files. You can submit your requirements using DXF, DWG, STEP (.stp), IGES, or solid PDF formats. If you only have a physical sample or sketch, our in-house 2D & 3D CAD design service can reverse-engineer it for production.

Q: What are your standard machining tolerances?
A: Our heavy-duty CNC routing and milling machinery achieves high-precision repeatable accuracy. For most standard engineering plastics and laminates, we maintain tolerances up to ±0.20mm, depending on material thickness and geometric complexity. Tight-tolerance machining requirements can be reviewed by our engineering team during the quoting process.
Q: Do you require a Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?

A: Yes GaaTech supports businesses at every stage. We cater to small-batch prototyping, specialized one-off component manufacturing, and large-scale, high-volume production runs with nationwide UK delivery.  Depending upon the task the MOQ is £30 or £50
