Why use a Fr4, G10 or Garolite Build plate
Here are some short youtube video upon these build plates.
The advantage appear to be.
- Less thermal expansion.
- Even heat distribution.
- Great adhesion for most filament, PLA, PETG (shown in the first video below) most likely others will work. Untested upon high bed temperatures for like nylon, ABS, ASA
- Good at releasing the parts (shown in the first video below)
- A nice semi Matt finish. (shown in the first video below)

Prices correct as at 1st May 2022, all prices will be plus VAT at the standard rate (UK). Minimum order £30 NET so, you may have to order two parts. (prices listed can only be held for 30 days from the date shown above.

Should you require a slightly differant size than please send an email with your requirements.
If you wish to replace say a 4mm glass bed with a 1.6mm Fr4 plate and still reuse your existing clips you can make up some 3mm spaces to go between the new Fr4 plate and your existing heated bed.
With larger beds above 250 x 250 its always recommended to have a bed probe.
These plate a sawn cut +/- 2mm
