Typographical Errors

In the event that a GaaTech product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, GaaTech reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. GaaTech reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card, payment method charged. If your credit card, paymeny method, has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, GaaTech shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

Term; Termination

These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon your accessing the site and/or completing the registration or shopping process. These terms and conditions, or any part of them, may be terminated by GaaTech without notice at any time, for any reason. Stock Errors

Our website provides live stock indicators, and will prevent you from ordering products that are not in stock. On very rare occasions it might be possible for the system to allow you to purchase an item that has sold out in the shop, but has not yet updated the website. This is down to technology limitations and is currently unavoidable. If you encounter this scenario, we aim to resolve the issue immediately. Please make sure we have up to date contact details for you in your account.

Damage via Postal

If a shipment arrives at your door with apparent shipping damage, please refuse the delivery and let us know. If you have already accepted delivery and then find shipping damage, please contact us within 3 days after the item(s) arrived. Do not throw away any packing materials and contact us immediately. The return shipping cost should be afforded by customer. After we have received the defect item(s) and the defected item(s) is proved to be a damage via postal, we will send you new item(s) or have your money back. We will afford the cost of re-sending.

Returns

Sometimes we understand that things can be defective from the manufacture, or you wish to return an item.  For which we have a returns policy that protects both of us.

EXCEPTIONS TO REFUND POLICY

No product that has been cut to your drawing/design/specification, specially ordered, 3D printed to your own STL files, a product that you have soldered or tampered with, can not be returned.

Refunds

Consumer Contracts Regulations you have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after the order was delivered, subject to the above exceptions.  You are responsible for returning the item(s) within 28 days from the original purchase date.

All product returned will be inspected upon arrival. The returns process can take up to 5 working days once we have received the goods. A refund if required will be paid within 14 calendar days after returning the goods, or evidence that they were returned has been received.

In order to qualify for our refunds policy, all Items must be in a re-saleable condition i.e. undamaged, in their original and undamaged packaging.

We reserve the right to refuse to refund items that are returned that are not in re-saleable condition or beyond the 28th day after purchasing. Goods returned in an unsatisfactory and not in a re-saleable condition may be returned to you at your expense.

If you return a single item bought as part of a multi-buy discount offer (for example buy 2 for £20.00) you will be refunded the full price of the item less any discount given in the offer. If you return all the items purchased with the multi-buy offer discount you will refunded with the full multi-buy value.

Our refunds policy is in addition to your statutory rights.

Restocking Charge

In some special circumstances were the correct returns procedure has not been followed by the purchaser, we may be able to offer a refund subject to a 25% restocking charge, the cost of postage and packing will not be refunded.  This offer is dependent upon the item purchased and the circumstances of the returned goods/products.

 

YOUR “CONSUMER RIGHTS”  FOR A RETURN AND REFUND:

If you are a consumer, you have a legal right to cancel a contract under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (“Regulations”) during the period set out above (14 days). This means that during the relevant period if you change your mind or decide for any other reason that you do not want to receive or keep goods, you can notify us of your decision to cancel the contract.  You must then return the goods to us within another 14 days.  Advice about your legal right to cancel the contract is available from your local Citizens’ Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office.

Returns by Post

We recommend that the goods are returned using insured and tracked postage.  We can not be responsible for any returns lost in the post.   You must ensure that your items are securely packaged.

You will need to pay for the postage but we will refund the delivery charge if we have made an error in our dispatch or if the item received is faulty or unfit for purpose, unless you have decided to keep part of the received order up to a value of £12.00

Refunding the cost of delivery

GaaTech has to refund the basic delivery cost of getting the goods to you in the first place, so if you opted for enhanced service eg guaranteed next day, GaaTech only has to refund the basic cost.

 

STATUTORY RIGHTS

Because you are a consumer, we are under a legal duty to supply goods that are in conformity with our contract. As a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to the goods that are faulty or not as described. These legal rights are not affected by your right of return and refund in this consumer right of return and refund policy pursuant to the Regulations or anything else in these Terms. Advice about your legal rights is available from your local Citizens’ Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office.

Dust & Sharp Edges

A lot of what we sell is Fr4 / G10 / Carbon Fiber and other tough laminates.

These are cut / milled upon a CNC router of wet saw.  In this process dust is created.  We do our up most to remove the dust via washing.

Care must be taken when handling these product and you must ensure to protect yourself against dust and any sharp edge, but wearing a suitable respirator / dust mask and gloves
